Monday’s & Wednesday’s Open The Door…to Sensory BabyTime

Our multisensory BabyTime sessions provide lots of special bonding & development activities that you & your baby will love & you’ll remember for many years to come. They’re interactive, multisensory adventures for you to enjoy together in the first year of your baby’s development.
Neural pathways are formed in your baby’s brain during the first few months, so this is a perfect time to help stimulate all their senses whilst you bond together in our relaxing & nurturing environment.
You’ll love our Open The Door baby circle times, where you’ll have fun exploring together with your little one, & be provided with activities that you can try at home. You’ll enjoy special moments, whilst your baby develops hand/eye coordination, & language, & you’ll be meeting other parents/carers & their babies, making new friends & sharing experiences.
We will provide opportunities to introduce your baby to ‘tummy time’, & we’ll explore movement through sensory play with music, which will improve muscle tone, provide tactile & visual stimulation, & promote deeper sleep & bonding.
Using parachutes, bespoke canopies, ribbons, bubbles, lights, & more, our BabyTime is a ‘delight to the senses’.
Why not start your baby’s journey, take time out of your busy day to focus on your baby & Open The Door…to a wondrous adventure.

Saturdays Open The Door… to StoryTime Events

Interactive, sensory, StoryTime events for all the family are also much loved sessions. These usually take place on the 2nd Saturday morning in the month. Held in the community hall at Tytherington Family Worship Church alongside the regular community coffee morning, they aim to inspire a love of stories, books & reading as well as being a fun way of developing language skills & a connection to music. You’ll be ‘rolling down the river’ in a boat, or ‘under the sea’ singing to the Baby Shark song but you’ll also be smiling, laughing & for those who are becoming independent readers, you’ll be bringing your own copy of the book to read along with us. Babies love these sessions too as you’re never too young to enjoy a good story with songs & actions.
Early years StoryTime events are available to be booked by schools, preschools, children’s parties/celebrations too.

Look out for our early evening Pyjama StoryTimes too where we often offer warm milk to keep you cozy.

Look out too for our StoryTimes which are just for babies. These are fabulous multi sensory introductions to storytelling for babies without the distraction of the older children, enabling you to connect deeply with your baby.

We also welcome enquiries of one to one sessions for any of our activities.
